The Business Phone Limited is a U.K. based international distributor of mobile payment terminals and solutions concentrating in Africa and the Middle East.

The Company’s primary customers are banks and retail organizations. The Company utilises  GPRS mobile payment terminals to carry the Company’s Paystream software.

Paystream applications include credit and debit card payment, money transfer, utility bill payment, mobile phone top-up, bus tickets and instant win lottery cards. The Company has created a recurring revenue model generated through income taken from each and every type of payment transaction carried on its terminals designed to produce high returns.

Existing fixed line payments work well in established markets but not in emerging markets where landlines and the existing payments infrastructure are unreliable. The Company’s mobile terminals take advantage of excellent GPRS coverage provided by the mobile phone networks in order to provide a reliable and secure payments network infrastructure in these emerging markets.
The Company’s East African office is located in Nairobi, Kenya and employs 7 full time staff.
