Nick Rattray Executive Director and Corporate Counsel
Qualified at Theodore Goddard having read Economics at Durham University and taken his Law Society CPE and finals at Chester Law School. Following 10 years in private practice specialising in big-ticket international litigation, fraud, money laundering and insolvency, he has wide-ranging business experience at director level having headed up the London operation of Euro Sales Finance, an AIM listed international factoring and invoice discounting company, which went on to join the main market.

Chris Edge Global Managing Director
Until recently the Managing Director of the largest independently owned distributor of financial services in the UK.(£140m) A former Senior Vice-President and Head of Strategic Business Development at JP Morgan in their Worldwide Security Services Division, he is an expert in strategic planning and business development with a track record of substantial profit growth in the Financial Services Industry, and has worked in senior positions across a number of geographies in Europe and South Africa. Chris is a qualified accountant and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Vas Lottari CFO
Vas Lottari is a graduate of the London School of Economics (Economics & Accounting & Finance). After graduating Vas joined BDO Stoy Hayward where he worked between 1980 and 1999 with a four year absence (1986-1999) to assist with a start-up in the leisure industry. Vas left BDO as a senior manager in the corporate recovery department having dealt with a considerable number of cases in a vast cross-section of industries.

He then joined a small firm of turnaround consultants in 1999 until 2002 where he dealt with acquisitions and disposals of several businesses. In 2002, Vas started his own business consultancy practice during which time he has dealt with companies as large as £100m turnover and has built up a roster of clients and dealt with projects as far a field as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Colorado, New York, Spain, Switzerland and Cyprus.

Wanjiru Gitahi Business Director Kenya
Wanjiru obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the United States International University. She has held various positions in insurance, telecommunications and distribution industries. For 7 years she worked with Celtel Kenya, a leading private telecommunication provider as a Corporate Sales Manager where she was directly responsible for increasing revenue. Prior to this, she worked with Nairobinet Online, an Internet service Provider, and Business Africa, a business focused newspaper company. Wanjiru joined Easy Mobile Communications Limited as a General Manager in 2007, where she has been working to date. She has also been involved in corporate social responsibility activities, including peer education (HIV-AIDS) and community service.

Sam Ndegwa CEO Kenya
Sam has over 12 years experience as a senior business executive responsible for business development and management in the ICT sector in East Africa. Sam has held senior responsibilities in leading corporate organisations as Customer Care Manager, Product Manager and recently as Head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care with a leading Internet Service Provider in Kenya. He has been actively involved in formulating and implementing corporate strategies, product development and set-up of policies and systems in different capacities. Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi with a major in Marketing.

Ernest has been brought aboard as our network engineer for East African operations. With years of experience in the Information Technology market, Ernest brings with him an unmatched knowledge of the point of sale terminals and back end systems and processes. He has worked for a number of market leaders and is ruthlessly efficient.

Anne Wanjiku Kibaki aka Mini Kibs Head of Customer Services
Anne Wanjiku Kibaki has taken over as Head of Customer Services for the Business Phone in the Kenyan office. She is the company liaison with our merchants throughout East Africa. She is tasked with making our customer service in this industry second to none. With many years experience in this field she makes a welcome addition to the team.

Lisa Wanjohi Finance
With 12 years professional experience, Lisa is a graduate of Missouri State University (USA) with a Bsc in Finance & Accounting. Over the years she has complimented her under-graduate work by acquiring certification as a financial analyst from “The Institute of Investment Professionals (IIP)”.

After her under-graduate studies Lisa worked in both the USA and Kenya for companies such as a leading freight company and a leading Investment Group with major investments in East Africa where she rose to Head of Finance & Accounting. She then worked as a financial services consultant before joining Paystream Ltd.

Active in the community Lisa is a volunteer in many Welfare Groups serving the impoverished children and Women's causes.

Jennifer W.Theuri Senior Consultant to PayStream
A B.ED degree and MBA graduate from the University of Leicester UK, Jennifer has in depth expertise in most aspects of electronic payments related to the card business and the banking Industry in Kenya, gained from over 20 years of hands on experience in some of the major Card Issuers and Acquires in Kenya.

These include Southern Credit Bank with their Senator Visa and MasterCard branded cards both in issuing and Acquiring, Imperial Bank Visa Card Issuing, Commercial Bank Of Africa Visa Credit and Debit Card issuing, including AMEX cards merchant payment processing, Paramount Bank MasterCard issuing, ABC Bank consulting ATM project, Royal Credit Payment and medical card and Diners Club credit card issuing and Acquiring.

She is the CEO of E-CPay Kenya Ltd responsible for business development of third party processing and consulting services.

Cedric A. Karani Network Engineer
Cedirc is the latest addition to the African technical team. He is an honest, ambitious, hardworking, self-driven person, dedicated, innovative, and keen to learn and ready to lead and be led. He holds a BSc. in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology and is enrolled for Cisco certified Network Associate-IT Certification.

Community activities: Every year during his holidays Cedric participates in the local community by cleaning the estate where he lives by collecting rubbish and donating food and clothes to those who are needy in society such as homes for the disabled, blind and children’s home like the Dagoreti children’s home.
